18-1/2" NEW CENTURY DISC-SHIFTING MUSIC BOX. The disc can be set to repeat the same tune or to play the first tune and then the second, via a "Repeat-Change" lever. Average playing time for a continuous 2-revolution performance is about 3 minutes. This New Century has been fully restored both mechanism and case. A superb and very rare music box. Comes with 12 discs. The accompanying video shows this New Century playing the William Tell Overture. Note the disc shift after the first revolution of the disc.
