BLACK FOREST HEAVILY CARVED CLOCK WITH MUSIC BOX. A SUPERB MAGNIFICENT PIECE. APPROX 1860 VINTAGE. EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. ON THE HALF HOUR A GONG IS RUNG. ON THE HOUR, THE GONG RINGS THE HOURLY TIME. A SHORT TIME AFTER, THE MUSIC BOX PLAYS A TUNE. EVERYTHING WORKS JUST LIKE IT SHOULD. THE MUSIC BOX PLAYS 6 DIFFERENT TUNES AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL CLEAR TONAL QUALITY.
